Very nice catches. Are they still charging launch fees at sportsman's this late in the season?

You hit it right for your first time. Good timing before all this rain. I'm watching it go up a little but not like the parks streams, they are toast.
Is the water staying clear on the upper?

Beads were the ticket! Never even tied on any flesh.

Not sure about water clarity now. It wasn't bad on Friday

Latest ADGF reports indicate it is turbid, so I don't think the clarity is great. Unfortunate, I am planning on doing some fishing in that area Friday. Maybe the water will clear up a little. Not sure with all the continuous rain.

No. It looks like a spenard hooker right now. High and dirty.

Thanks! Just as I figured, so wanted to get back down for a few more days but if I wanted High and dirty I'd go to Spenard.

The last two weekends down there I didn't use anything but 8mm beads. Didn't even tie on a flesh fly. Not saying the flesh won't work, they were just hitting well on beads so I stuck with them.

    NICE!!! See you this weekend?
I am not against the flippin kenai, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering every other stream... ~Paul O'Neil~/~Wyo2AK~
