Default Dixie or Copperhead MM Reviews

Just joined the MMT forum, was hearing different reviews on the two. I am sold on the copperhead and have been for years. BUT, dixie seems to be the latest addition to the MM Market and at almost a 20-30% decrease in price. Has anyone on here heard anything on them? I am asking and searching other forums in lower 48, but wanted to see if any of the my local waterfowlers had any insight.

Copperhead was new a few years ago as well..as Dixi is now..Seems some great upgrades have come along on their part and CS seems be be pretty good as well.

    Looking at the 12hp-18hp

Will put it on the aluminum Duckhunter 14'7 at about 250lbs
    Let me know, thanks

My copperhead 18 has done really well with my 14' x 48" Jon boat. Runs about 25mph and pushed it well in the soupy stuff and over sand bars. Planning on duck hunting with it when I'm not on the west side, I'll show ya if it all works out if you want.

Yeah,,me either, I sent the company a long email asking a ton of questions..mostly on comparison of them and Copperhead. See what he says. Price dont look bad..I dont mind paying more for a Copperhead and since it is already up in AK might run with that..sure shipping is going to set me back on the Dixie if I ordered it with the options I wanted. I will want to put a 12 and 18 on the boat and see how they handle before I buy one..thinking the 18 is going to be a little more than what I want in weight and speed..but if I decide to use it on the larger rivers..probably just about right.. Who knows..just need to feel her out first.
