Default Grandson's Alaska Bear - Got the rug back

I just got my grandson's rug back from the bear he shot on Kodiak in May. Looks as good as I remember it. Great hunt Cherokee RIP 6-6-12.

Great looking rug!! Im sure everytime you look at that rug it will bring back the memory of the great hunt you had with your grandson, and all the other great times you had with him.

That trip to Kodiak, as a gift to him, after a lifetime of hunting together as "The Tradition Continued" had to be one of the Richest things you could do as a Grandfather

My hats off to you and your son, for giving life like that,.....cause it sounds like,....That Young Man Lived Life to the Fullest

My heart goes out to you,...so glad you have these recorded memories,...
and are sharing them with us, as through these threads and photos,....

Cherokee continues to live on and impact us all here,....reading and recognizing again,...how precious our children are

Thank you guys. I wasn't sure how the camo would look either but it is what he wanted. I think it turned out great and really sets it off. I am taking the rug down for my son when I go elk hunting in Colorado. They are remodeling a house and have a special wall to put it on. I will keep the skull here in Alaska.
