    Default Blackies in 16B

Looking at doing a fly-in drop camp for blackies over in 16B this spring... maybe third week of May... Anyone have any guidance on productive or unprodutive areas over there? I've been working with air charters who fly the area but nobody has any strong suggestions where they can drop us.. thanks.

I'm sure it is, but you need to watch access issues there. Virtually all of the land surrounding Beluga Lake and the upper reaches of the Beluga River is native land.

I'd suspect you can find bears anywhere in 16B, theres a lot of black bears in Alaska. Alexander Lake could be fun because if there are no bears out theres excelnt pike fishing. Talk to Rust's they have boats and stuff there which could be useful.

Oh, thank you Mark for the land map... that is really helpful. I always end up doing my land ownership last and you would think I'd have learned by now.....

Oh, I don't know if it matters what research you do last...........the last item is always sure to be the one to screw your plans up!
