Default Berry Picking on the Denali & Richardson Hwys?

We're heading out tomorrow morning to drive the Denali Hwy, then down to Valdez. I as wondering if anyone has info on where the berries are ready and if they are in spots that I can easily get to with two kids. Any sorta of berry will do, they both really like blueberries and watermellon berries. Thanks!

There were a lot of blueberries in the Maclaren area. Get off the road, they will be there.

Denali Highway, MM 95-97 feels like a blueberry farm right now. Couldn't sit or kneel without staining my pants with the things.

Thanks, we were up there over the week before Labor Day, found tons right around the Susitna bridge. The girls were able to get out and pick with no problems. The berries were ripe and sweet.
