    Default Thanks to all

Hey guys and gals. thanks sooo much for sharing your Sheep hunt with us.Many years ago, I hunted and harvested Sheep. To me they are the #1 trophy in Alaska. now age and physical condition prevents me from going a field BUT with this forum it's almost as good. keep up the good work.

Roland not to get to personal and feel free to pm me... I really hate when guys cant get out and do what they love any more.. How about and easier area for sheep maybe just being able to get out there and play.. I have taken hunters well into there 70s and my last hunter only had one lung. I always enjoy your posts and if your condition ever gets to a point you want to give it a go and I am still able I will carry your pack for you....

thanks hoose and others... the least I could do. We are all going to be in a situation at some point where we can no longer get out and do the things we like to do.... the stories the memories just the times of gettin out there with friends and family are the things we can all cherish and to me what makes it all worth it. I really like Rolland's post of thanks cause at the end of the day and the end of the hunt the stories will be there for a lifetime..
Stories are definitely one of the coolest thing about this forum...

Is it too early to nominate Bear and Roland as the co-members of the year? This is the stuff that makes this place great.

Bear; if Roland takes you up, count me in! i will help pack gear and him, the guy has a special place in my heart, and he would offer the same to most any of us if he still could. Fortunatly I have gotten to stand in his living room and GAWK at the MANY rams on his wall.

I would also like to say thanks again for the help and info I've gleaned here.(Not new to Ak, but relatively new to the forum) You guys amaze me with your generosity.
There have been quite a few "new to Ak" threads recently, and it surprises me that the people here give without too much
    grumbling about more hunters.

    Kudos,

    Fred

Great thread....love the respect and Camaraderie expressed here!

Thanks Roland on the River for paving the way ( in the field and on the forum) my guess is you once offered yourself to someone either teaching a youngster or helping an elder

and thanks bear & pole bender for your offers....I hope it happens!
