I’m a licensed manufacture and will do custom small lot ammunition. I have no idea what “BOW gun” ammo is though, to me a bowgun is a crossbow and fires a bolt.

I'd also be interested in having you load if you're interested. I already have the dies for my 8mm-06 AI. I'll PM you.

Louie, How could we know the caliber from BOW? Also what 7mm? there are at least 8 different standard 7mm cartridges.

Got it. I load a lot of them it seems to be the long range hunters round. Not a lot of folks who can shoot them though.

    7mm Ultra with Berger.

I attended a McMillan long range course with another AK Forum member a few months ago. McMillan has built a few models for Bob Beck and titled them EOL for Extreme Outer Limits.

Berger bullets ballistician Bryan Litz along with McMillan designers and Bob Beck tested several combinations of velocity and seating depth to come up with their special load. That load was sent to a reamer and die company to build special dies and reamers to chamber the 7MM ultra EOL being sold by McMillan

HSM was contracted to produce the special recipe ammo. The bullets are Berger Hybrid 180gr .284's. The EOL rifle utilizes a longer magazine box.

The EOL reamer design allows this custom ammo to load from the longer magazine and kiss the lands in EOL built rifles. I witnessed a 1000 yard 4" 5 shot group with the McMillan EOL rifle and HSM ammo at the class.

It was my understanding that this ammo will chamber in production 7mm RUM rifles if single loaded. The only issue will be the shorter production magazine boxes in most rifle won't allow this ammo to feed from the magazine. The longer COAL will chamber because the bullet shape and the longer SAMI spec throat.

Yes it was very impressive. The rifle was a McMillan production model brought out as a demo with the new HSM ammo. The shots were made prior to the wind picking up in the afternoon. They had the new Night Force Velocity 1000 mounted on the rifle.

A customer attending the class bought the rifle and took it home the next day.

Last year I was at one of these classes and David Tubb shot a cantaloupe off a fence post at 900 yards off hand. He was demonstrating the 2000 rifle built by McMillan.

Anyway, the 7mm RUM/EOL ammo is available from Bob Beck at:

Many years ago I watched Tubb shoot in the Silhouette Nationals. I was awestruck by his ability which seemed so effortless.
