check out the second half of this vid.
Amazing video Steve.
I have had rainbows do that and have had salmon jump out of the water on me but that is incredible watching a shark that big do it.
The only sharks I have caught here were sand sharks and they never jumped out of the water on me.
It would be cool to see a salmon shark do that.

Holy F*****ng S**T!! That almost looked fake.
Haven't watched the vid due to my slow connection, but thrashers and seven -gill sharks are great jumpers, especially the seven gill in shallow waters. Had the pleasure of each on the end of my line back in the 70's, and the record setter jump-wise was a 12'9" seven-gill turn a complete summersault in the air. Twice! Lotta witnesses and a news crew was shooting and got it on tape (actually film in those days). Sure wish I could recover a copy of that film, but contact with the TV station a few years back got a raspberry.
I'm currently watching shark week on Discovery and I really, really, really, really want to go fish top water @ Seal Island South Africa for 3000# Great Whites!!!!!
