    Default Kryptek rain gear.

Has anyone used this gear. If so is it quiet and can it hold up to an all day down pour.

Kryptek rain gear is top notch! Last year the Koldo rain jacket was my favorite piece of gear. It never let me down and always kept me dry. I loved using it as a wind blocker as well during those time when you get to the top and sit down to glass. It's lightweight, has all the features you would want in rain gear. This years line up is even a bit better. The pants unzip much higher on the leg, those big black patches are gone that many people didn't care for and it's in their new highlander pattern. The jacket also comes in solid gray.

Check 'em out and if your serious about getting some top quality rain gear you won't be disappointed!

For hunting situations its deffinately better. More breathable, and lighter to pack away. I like my HH and will probably keep them on hand for fishing charter trips.

Nothing is more waterproof than rubber. It is not however the most versatile. I roll with both, impertec for when I am hunting swamps while it rains like I am in a shower. I just picked up the Kyrptek pant for everything else. We will see.

i've got the sitka rain gear....it don't hold a candle to HH impertec....
do you like the koldo because of the fit/weight or because it is just AS water proof as rubber?
