    Crow Creek Pass or Whittier? Hope? Anybody see some this year?

    Saw some in Girdwood....but tons of people were out picking them. My usual spot apparently isnt so secret and Im sure theyre all long gone now. Havent heard anything about Whittier yet...

    Don't know about the salmon berries, but I was pleasantly surprised when my daughter and her boyfriend went out and picked a nice little batch of blueberries not far from the house here. Had some nummy blueberry pancakes this am....!!!

    There were some across the Bay from Homer a couple of weeks ago but more than half weren't ripe at that time but should be good right now though.

    We picked enough on the Crow Creek road for my wife to make Jam. May try Seldovia if weather is good for my small craft.
