Default Parks Highway: slobs on the swing

Fished up North yesterday and the bite was on. Not so much with flesh and beads though. Did the swing thing and picked up some nice bows. The humped out pinks also liked the presentation. Saw some silvers but couldn't get them to take. The Labrador, "Dolly Varden",Click image for larger version.

Went to the same creek, different stretch last night. Packed in my 2.75 year old to a good gravel bar and we had a blast! Caught the biggest bow of the year, so far, but not on the swing. Beads were the ticket and one color/size in particular. Great Lakes Stealhead Beed Co. make some killer colors!

Great looking fish! Just ordered some beads from Great Lakes Steelhead Co. Thanks for the tip. Can't wait to get out and give them a try.
