    Sportsmans in Wasilla sells it by the foot. They have reels of it near the stairs going upstairs to the water toys.

    Second Chance has packs of it for just a couple bucks. Its in Anc on Spenard real close to Benson.

    Try the Pack Rat at the Short Stop on K-beach. The owner inside will open it up if you ask him, last time I was there he had a bunch. Leave some for me I need to grab some too when I get home.

    try Sportman's Warehouse in soldotna. i saw some in the fairbanks store yesterday...should be a universal stock item in stores.

    I admit to being a bit of a paracord junkie. I order mine through the auction site using a favorite mil-spec supplier. I like to keep about 4 bright colors around...usually all neon colors. Great for camp clothesline, hanging meat bags, securing everything, guy-outs, repairs, and about anything else you can imagine. I used paracord to create a quick-release for my holster flap, and then also used it to create a tether which attaches to my Smith.
