    Default Whale in Hoonah Harbor

My wife, two of our daughters and I went for a short cruise yesterday in our Bayliner 3270. We came out of the small boat harbor and saw this humpback feeding adjacent to the cold storage. My 13 year old Morgan took the pics. The second one isn't quite centered, but it caught her off guard a little as it fed within 30 yards of us. Pretty humbling to be that close to something so large. Great cruise that afternoon. Morgan was captain for the ride back and even managed to dock us with a little coaching. She did as well or better than many adults I've seen trying to park a 32 foot boat. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
