    Default Whittier Coho report

I hope its not early for this. I am more than ready to chase some silvers in PWS. Any good word? Don't mind info on the outside, but I'm more interested on the waters inside Knight Island. Cheers

I'm headed out on Monday to search for some silvers. They should be starting to come into that area by now. I'll let ya know something when I get back.

I pushed all the way out to knight a couple of days ago, most all the jumpers we saw were pinks, we did throw a mooching line over the rail while halibut fishing and had one silver in 2 days of fishing visit us. I'd say in about 4-5 days the should be showing up.

We spent a few days off of east Knight Island late last week and only saw pinks jumping. We had a mooching line over and only caught pinks as well. I suspect that area should be producing silvers next week.

We spent an hour trolling on the northeast side of Eleanor Island two weeks ago. Hooked up four silvers and no pinks in an hour of trolling. They were hitting super cut plugs, blue splatter back hoochies, and Ace hi-fly hoochies. Lots of really small baitfish in their bellies.

Just barely made the 11:00 tunnel last night, engine trouble, but trolled Pigot yesterday afternoon and boated 1 nice silver and a 22" chinook. 4 pinks. Best action was threaded herring. Cut plug caught pinks.
