Default Bings Landing - Any reports?

Thinking of heading to Bings this weekend. Heard the big plug of reds are taking their time moving upstream. Any word or expectations of what might be around by Friday?

Last night on faceboook, a friend of mine posted a nice stringer of fish caught near Bings that she said was caught within an hour or so of arriving.

Fished there yesterday and it was ridiculous, both number of fish and people. Most people who have experience flipping had their limits in a couple of hours. Two guys were with me that had never flipped (one guy had never fished) and they landed 3 easily. There were lots of people, but it was the first time I had fished Bings, so I'm not sure what it is usually like.

screw bings fished there last thursday some of the most inconsiderate clowns I have ever ran into. Swiftwater is a littel better. I prefer the upper Kenai past the power lines only thing I have to worry about are bears.

Ill be at swiftwater this monday laying the hammer down hopefully, last friday it was nice to see an undercover trooper checking coolers out by the cars and handing out some tickets! Hint plain clothes!

Goodluck to all and remember to only take your limits of 6 fish to prevent getting in trouble.. that should be generous enough for all of us, dontcha think?

Go down and get some! Worst thing that happens is you get skunked, but I doubt that would happen! The sonar counts have been pretty consistent so Im thinking some fish should be pushing through for sure.

Oh and ill be driving down to homer friday night and fishing over the weekend, then hitting either swiftwater or the park across from sportsmans warehouse.

Bing's is crazy with people, cars backed up to the highway to park, bring not only \your waders but your hiking boots as well. There ought to be some fish moving to the upper river where you may be able to get away from the crowds.

Hit it yesterday AM and limited out in short order with 2 others. Biggest problem is all the *********s. Be prepared to fish with jerks.
