    Default Tananna River Pike Info???

    Hey guys,

I drew the antlerless moose hunt DM719 (Dunbar Area) it is bounded East of the Tananna River downstream from Nenanna. There are tons of ponds and sloughs all throughout that area, and was wondering if anybody has fished for pike in them. It looks very pikey, and would be nice to find out how to catch them. Fishing for pike and having a good time and hopefully get lucky enough for a moose to wonder out and get harvested. any info on this whole topic would be amazing. Pictures would even be more amazing. thanks alot guys.

    Joe.

I am heading to red shirt lake if you read my posts you might find some good information on pike fishing. also went to youtube and looked up the lures and so on. I have no clue about that area, if its slow moving water then most likely you will be hiting pike like no other.
