    Default Denali?

I looked at every forum room and found one for just about everything except National Parks so I'll put it here since it's somewhat related to hunting. I'm planning a 2014 interior Griz hunt and since I'm in Alaska I thought a tour of Denali might be nice? Many options from Anchorage: rental car, bus, plane and train. I'll be alone so I'm thinking the train might be nice? Anyone been on it? Anyone been on the all day tour bus for Denali? How was that?

Also wondering if anyone has suggestions on where to stay (just the basics)?

Big question is what time of year will you be hunting? Spring or Fall?

the train was kick butt! really nice! great people... cant wait to do it again.... Tons of free stuff and cheap stuf to do in DNP. Was there last weekend and took a free trip up to savage river. Nice country, saw some bou and a few moose. But defanitly take the train, you get to even have a few cold beers and watch the scenery roll by! tons of leg room and you can even get up and walk around.

I took my folks into the park on the bus. It was nice and they enjoyed it greatly. I felt a bit cramped but it is the only option to get deep in the park, besides walking. parents weren't up for that.
We saw sheep, moose, wolf, bear Great scenery too...even saw mt McKinley.
    It was worthwhile.
