    Nope you haven't missed it.
It just hasn't been posted yet.
The first two weeks of September will be the busyest but I will be around until the end of the first week of October.

I really want to make it down this year and learn more about the kenai river rainbow fishery. I have a couple of the 9' one man pontoons, will those work?

Im gonna be at or around Palooza fro 14 days....I am toneing things down at my camp this year though...After thinking about some things all winter long I realize how much I love my time down there. That being said Camp chuck is not gonna be the "Host" camp this year....Dont get me wrong...There will be a night or two or 3 or 4 (over 2 weeks) that there will be a PARTY/BENDER. But there are gonna be nights Im lights out by 10. There is alot of water I have wanted to work on the Mid river and Im gonna do it this year...That means getting up early and not still being drunk or hung over. I have a smaller site this year and cannot host tons of people. I just need some quality river time plus some down time. The long snowy ass winter we had has put me over the edge...So that being said.....Do not count on me to save you a site, let you camp at my site, row you in my boat, shuttle you, let you park your boat in my site...I know this sounds harsh but it is want I need and want.....Stopping by to say hi is one thing....Rocking my camp to 4 or 5 am is over kids... So if that puts your knickers in a bunch, ummmmmmm to ****ing bad

Unlike the diehard fisherman above, I am coming up to drink, have big camp fires, and such. I am floating two NW rivers and fishing hard the two weeks before Palooza, so I am welcoming some shet talking and music around my fire. Anyone that knows me, do drop in. Will have rental truck with tan raft in bed and a green tent. If that don't help, look for the 6'6" 300 lb redneck with a beer in his hand.

Dan, My brothers coming up this year to fish with me and we will be there a couple weeks before you get here. Fishing between Copper landing and Homer. Have to run him back to Airport for a day or so but hope to stop back down while you are here. Good for you to get another remote float in this year.

Hushpuppies are for fried fish. Flatbread is for chitlins.

I'll be there. Most likely the mid river as I just got a 20 foot predator. But might have open seats. Hope to meet new people and meet some bigger fish.

Got word tonight my brother, Callip, is coming. He will be there the same dates as me, Sept 8-14. We plan on drinking around the fire and playing music about 5 of the 5 nights we are there. Do drop in. Bring your cooler and camp chair.
