Default Spring has finally arrived to the interior, but....

But it's still relatively cold. It has been quite a long winter, and the ice is melting fast, although it still gets down to around 25 degrees during the night near Fairbanks. It was very cloudy today when I took this picture. Used a Canon Rebel XT with a Tokina 12-24mm lens at 12mm.

Ray, nice to see that spring is on the way. I am really looking forward to my first spring here in AK, the bears, fishing, scenery and everything else that makes this place so incredible!

You should have a great time taking pictures near Anchorage. Lots of good places for scenery pictures out Turnagain Arms. Also Arctic Valley, etc. Lots of moose can be found in the city, too. The bears are more difficult to shoot, however, but possible.
