    Angry STOLEN 2011 HONDA 50hp 4stroke

On 7/17/12 Our 2011 Honda 50hp motor was stolen right off of our boat in our yard!! They cut the fuel line, battery cable and took everything including the transom mount! Barely used only 40 hours on it. If anyone has any information it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Be on the lookout and lock everything that you can away!!

Chugiak. I know I keep looking up the driveway everytime a car or people pass and doing double takes when seeing boats on the road. Sooo crappy.

We worked 12 hours Tuesday so we could take today off to go dip-netting and went to hook up the boat after 9 Tuesday night and looked up and noticed something didn't look right and it took a few min to realize no f-ing way the motor is gone!

You probably already saw this, but I noticed this on CL the other day. Obviously, someone saw a suspicious looking Honda 50hp ad and posted this as a response. I can't find the original one, but if you contact the guy he might have kept the contact, etc.

I'll post this again on this thread....if anyone wants to use my 10HP Johnson kicker as bait, PM me.
It's an older model that I don't use.

That is a bummer, the only solace I can offer is that the thief(s) won't be fishing for Kenai kings with the emergency closure. Your motor being a 50hp...

I don't have anything to offer, but maybe if you have a kicker and also trail cams... set up a trail cam looking at the kicker.

I got some gopros and some other camera equipment. Seems like these theifs have been getting braver and braver each year, or just even more stupid?

Go on the dipnetting forum and post up that your motor got stolen on the kenai report thread, chances are it could be used for dipnetting. Also look all over craigslist, alaskaslist and call around to the pawn shops stating everything you got on the motor.

    Goodluck.

Hook'um up with the lojac program, at the very least send the OEM's a letter asking for an option to help track a stolen motor.

I would pay a little extra for a tracking system once the boat is fired up, it would be a great sluth aid for the troopers.

If you are near J&S and the car wash you might want to talk with the guy who owns the car wash. I was washing my coolers out a little over a week ago and he said some people had ripped him and J&S off. He said that he thought he had talked with them. Good luck.
Got a few of it down
