The Schnees may be a bit warm for Sept but are an otherwise good choice. I prefer the Lacross Alpha Burly--ankle fit knee boot--for all around use.

Bring a pair of boots with good ankle support for packing your bull out--even short disances are easier in the right boots and they make a nice change for around camp.

I am looking for some also. I have been looking at Hodgman wadelite pant wader. Here is a website to look at them.

I have the Schnees 16" guide ADV and have been lovin em for the last few years. The most comfortable boot I've ever owned. Those and ankle fit hippers will be all you need for your September hunt.

KeneTrek 13" Grizzly gets my vote for the boots:

It's pretty tough to go wrong with the LaCrosse hippers too.
