Default Shore fishing Kenai Peninsula in July

    Hi all,

we are coming from Germany and heading for Soldotna mid to end of July for fishing. We plan to make some guided trips, but of course we simply cannot afford guided fishing for 2 weeks.

Apart of standing in the queue for Reds, we would like to fish off the shore in saltwater. Maybe for Halibut, Flounder or whatever else might be out there..

Does anybody have some hints or good ideas for where to fish, what to target and how to do it... :-)

Thanks in advance and best regards,
(and please excuse my bad English)

    Alex

You could fish from the beach at "Land's End resort" in Homer. Catch flounder, sea run trout etc. Welcome to Alaska and have great fun.

The search feature can be your friend. We have been discussing this at length already. Here is a link to the thread.
