My lettuce is rotting away at soil level. Dont see any bugs. Its cone skaped and mushy yellow. Picked off some leaves and the whole plant just fell off. Any thaughts
so the stem is rotting?
I have seen the leaves rot but it is usually because they are buried under other leaves and pressed against the ground. Do you have good drainage in your soil? Other then that I'd check the area for slugs or other pests. Quite often the are nocternal so look under near by rocks and stuff.
Sounds like grey Mould
