    Loooking for recommendations on where to take the outboard for service before storaging.

    First off what brand motor is it?
    Second your profile doesn't say where you live so...?
    Both are essential before a recommendation can be made.

    I suppose that would help lol. I have a 08 tohatsu 20 four stroke located in anchorage.

    Its pretty simple, I like the knowledge that I learn winterizing it myself. I had a 2008 20 HP and the choke was sticky ( corrosion ) be sure and rinse the engine housing and put light oil on linkages after dry. Previous owner did not after salt water use.
