Hi everyone - I just found this forum and have spent several hours reading the various posts. Great information, thanks !!

I'll be making my first trip to Kodiak this coming August, about the middle of the month. One of my long time friends owns and operates a taxidermy buisness on Kodiak. We grew up together in Ohio hunting and fishing, making many, many trips to Lake Erie, New York, Mich. etc.

He finally talked me into coming up from my home in West Virginia. I have been flyrodding Smallmouth Bass here for years, but this type of fishing in Alaska is completly new.

My friend is an avid flyfisherman as well, but I'll be reading the various posts and talking the information in.

    Thanks in advance !!!
