    Default Lake creek trout access

    Hey guys, with kings shut down im looking to run lake creek. With a jet boat am i able to access good trout fishing or is that only avaible by flying in to the lake and floating it? Thanks Vance

    I've only floated it once so I'm not an expert but IMO the best trout fishing is well above where you can make it with a jet boat. The water was high and dirty when I floated it so I could be wrong.

    I used to take my 20' Wooldridge inboard up there. I've been up to Bulchitna lake area. Nice trout waters in the back braids around there. We used to catch plenty of them. It's not as good as drifting down from the headwaters, but it's possible to get far enough upstream to catch good trout. Have fun.
