Under a tarp. It's supposed to rain cats and dogs this week.

Not very promising weather. All the same, I still need to find a campground.
    Thanks,

The BLM campground at Sourdough is nice. There are also a couple of state park campgrounds down that way and a few private campgrounds too. No reservations at Sourdough so get there early...

I believe Dry Creek state campground is just a couple minutes north of glenallen, then there is the river bridge gravel pit, then sailors pit (ahtna) & then sourdough.
Never even driven through dry creek so I can't tell you anything more about it.

I have stayed in Dry Creek a couple of times. Nice campground, just north of Glennallen and south of the Gulkana River.

Call the Gulkana RV Campground folks (google it). If you hire their fishing guides for $225 per person, the kings are in, and I think you can camp there if you hire them.

Shhhhhh! Dry Creek! Shhhhh! Bugs!!!!!!!! Shhhhh! Dry Creek. Not a dig on the Gulkana River RV Park but they change what is what just about every year. Cali Guys decent enough peeps but they went from allowing camping to Charging by the year to cabins back to charing by the year to whatever. Give them a call but don't get sticker shock depending on the Flavor of the year.

BlueMoose, Do you know how the RV Campground guys are doing? I stopped going there 3 years ago when the King run pooped out early, and they wanted to make you buy some expensive 7 day permits. I do think they allow you there if you hire their guides overnite. I rafted by the place 3 days ago and they seemed to have a few customers.
