I floated the parks to the end of millers reach road last week. high n fast, banks are pretty well non-existant. A friend floated down to burma, didn't have to drag once. he said it was a little tight in one spot due to a growing log jam.

How long can one expect a float from the parks to burma or the parks to millers reach road?

Typical fall going all the way to Burma Landing about 16 hours.

Considered running it this weekend but not too sure based on water levels.

Sounds like an over nighter at least. On a good salmon return year, is there good trout fishing in the fall? How is the water clarity typically in the fall?

Can't comment on the salmon fishing but water clarity switches from clear mountain to muddy silt at the lower end.

Don't forget to take advantage of the state run camping facilities on the lower stretch.

    It's a nice area.
