DSCF1504.jpgDSCF1497.jpg Went to the end of Cochran Bay, circled the whole bay, spent the night and came home in the rain. It was a little choppy on the way back but she handled beautifully. Not to mention all this on about 10 gallons of fuel. Cruises 18 knots@5000rpm.

Got to love canoes and big water like the real old days. The Russians found conch shells used as horns in Sitka when they landed there so the canoe has passed the test of time.
Now left only to be a turd in the forrest and the circle will be complete.Use me as I have used you

Tell us more about your canoe? Center consoule? Motor ? Canvas setup? Looks like a Scott? Where did you sleep PWS is tough to find a dry spot with a good Anchorage! Early we put tent on a snowbank, dry and level and above the tied line.

James Bay, 50hp Tohatsu. I gave it a fresh coat of argo green this Spring since Scott only sells it in crappy tan. Built the console last year and the bench seat and cover this year. I built a cover for the back too. DSCF1484.jpg
