Thank you - I like to make movies of my trips. OK, I have to carry a tripod und a (small) camera. That's all. And in wintertime I can mix and 'cut' the clips to a movie. There's no better way to conserve some of these great memories. I like it.

I am happy to come back to Alaska this fall for some kayaking and flyfishing.

Hey Dan, long time no see! When are you gonna make one of your trips land in Barrow?

We have the advantage of no trees to block to view! None of those awful looking mountains either! Just fantastic botany, birds, Bowheads, and maybe a bear (if you're lucky enough).

Beautiful footage and images. Great choices with music. Very well done.
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.

Thank you: I guess I have to post the full movie (one hour). It was a wonderful trip. The 1st week, we only had sunshine and all the animals you can see up there. And the upper Noatak valley is magic. If I have a chance to do the trip again, I would stay even more time in the headwaters and paddle only the stretch to Lake Matcharak. That part of the valley is narrow with lots of mountains to hike or/and enjoy. Only the fishing was not so great, is better more downstream.

    A place to protect!
It's what you do when no one is looking that counts.
