    Default Whittier tomorrow

Headed to Whittier for 2 days tomorrow. Anyone else headed out? I'll be around Smith Island then down by Latouche on the second day. Knot Too Shabby. Give me a shout if you are down that way.

Just got back. WOW. What an incredible two days out. Beautiful weather and Big Halibut. I'll post up some pictures tomorrow after I get some rest and download the camera.

First days one butt short of a limit. Biggest two fish were 52 according to the tide book.

Second day out near the south end of Knight. Limited out on big halibut. Largest is 117, a couple 87's, a 75, a 54 and a 40. We also thew back a few smaller ones. Not bragging at all, but that is the best load of halibut the "Knot Too Shabby" has ever brought home. And to find the spot all by myself too. I've gotten some really great info from people on here, but we just lucked upon this spot yesterday and it turned out great.

Thanks guys. It was a great time. Biggest I've ever caught and just can't believe we had such a great day. Good luck to you out at Green Island. I hope to get out that way one day soon too.

Why doesn't Whittier have any hooks to hang halibut at the cleaning tables? They have the fancy Whittier Harbor signs, but no hooks.... I guess they couldn't afford hooks with such low launch/parking fees.....

Why have hooks when nobody catches(or at least admits to catching) any big halibut there, except you !!
