    Default Boating Photos?

Do you have high resolution (3MB or higher) boating photos to share? The State of Alaska Office of Boating Safety. is seeking new photos for upcoming publications and presentations. In particular, adults and children in life jackets, scenery photos, boats that have run aground, a photo that demonstrates safe or unsafe boating, launching/retrieving. Thank you for your help.

Nobody is ever stuck, you're just momentarily at a halt.

I have sent in a few photos of my boys wearing there life vests and having fun on the ocean, I encourage all of you to do the same. I would really like to see SpoiledOne send in that photo of him jumping off the top of the boat into the water... These photos are for the boating safety people, you know the "Kids Don't Float" program and seminars you attend at the boat shows.

@JR2 thank you for sending those photos of the boys in life jackets. The Alaska scenery coupled with safe boating behavior helps demonstrate what we teach regarding cold water, and importance of wearing a life jacket. Two capsizes in the past week one in Homer one on Eagle River, in both cases, no fatalities because of what these boaters did right and all were wearing life jackets. Thank you for your help.

Thank you for the great photos @robbentler of boating in Alaska, keep them coming, much appreciated. Any chance I get to freshen up the publications, presentations etc. This is a great way to share with other boaters what's out there. Thank you.
