Default Pillar's State boat launch raises price

    Fyi,
Friday, june 15th, the pillars state boat launch is raising its price to $15. To my knowledge there was no public notice or comment period other than a handwritten sign at the ramp.

I don't think there has to be a public comment period for a simple fee increase when it was coupled with a park improvement project (new docks are being installed). The Pillars is managed separately under KRSMA.

It's the first item on this page...

I will that link when I am at my computer and not my phone, thanks for the link. I am glad to see that the money stays local. I was under the impression that all fees went to a general fund and not a specific project. I did talk with a member of the krsma board and the fee increase was not brought before them. I have no problem paying more as long as we continue to see improvements.
I just want to make sure users know to pay the increased amount so as to not get a ticket.
