I've used Bottom Line Charters with very good results. (907) 567-7366. I've also used Key'Os a number of years ago. Some of the charters will do half days so remember to ask. I only found out once when I was boarding the boat, they were trying to make up for being weathered out. They are not bad trips, it just depends on what you want.

Thanks for the info Bill & Wish-Bone. My next thing is finding a rental car that is not too expensive as we are flying & staying in Anchorage.

Try Rent-a-wreck in Anchorage. I think they're the cheapest way to go.

Thanks everyone for the info. We are set. Flight tickets, car, (Cheap Wheels) motel in Anchorage. Hopefully a charter.
Not our usual 2 mo. stay, 3 wks will go by fast. It has been 3 ys. Friends from other trips to see, places to visit.
Time to get some Fish to send home. Husband loves the Ling Cod & Rock Bass so that is a priority. If we can get a Halibut
that would be fine with me. Of course there is Salmon. Not much to ask for in 3 wks is it??? (We Love AK)

Does anyone know of a reasonable place to stay in Ninilchik? Have to drive down from Anchorage the night before the charter.

Best deal I have found for car rental from a great place, is ABC. Do your homework before you rent cheap!
