    Default Deshka Kings

I'm a lifelong alaskan @ 37 yrs old and finally had enough money to purchase a great riverboat for our family to fish. We want to fish Kings on the Deshka. I have a prop. I would like to idle and drift. What is the most consistant set up for catching Kings. It would be greatly appreciated. Private message is fine too. Thanks for the help!!!

There isn't much idling or drifting at the Deshka. Pretty much anchor and chuck big vibrax or warts at them or toss eggs and leave em sit on bottom provided you can get properly cured eggs and not the store bought junk.

Appreciate the tips!! I fished a day each the last two weekends. Most recently on the 22nd. After sitting for a few hours, I began to troll with a few other boats. Nothing. Nobody there caught anything. I fished from 6:30 am to 1:00 pm. Nothing. I had four poles doing something in the water and still nothing. What a rough summer for Kings. Maybe the Japan Tsunami through things off, I don't know. Oh well, the guides up there were even complaining too. Well, the closures will hopefully help.
All in all, it was beautiful weather and a great day to be on the river!! Time for some trout fishing.
