    Default Grasshopper Valley Strip

Anyone land there? Whats it like (length etc?)
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

    Default rough

There are several strips in there. I assume you are talking about the big one near the mouth, 900-1000 feet, pretty rough upper half, narrow.

There's one just a quarter mile from the long one which is maybe 500 feet, but not nearly as rough. I prefer it.

    Default strip

There is one on the south/east side of the river, not sure how long that one is. The other one on the north/west side of the river is right at 750 feet long by my paces. Fly to the north and then approach to the south. set down right at the end of the strip, you should be stopped by midfield in a cub type aircraft. great camping areas on both sides of the strip, but the wind blows alot there.
