    Default Halibut sinker maker?

Anyone have a contact for someone that makes and sells. Cod style halibut weights? Especially 3 lb and up.

How many are you looking for and do you have your own lead?

I only need 3 or 4. I probably have enough lead for 4.

I have the mold for 2 and 3 pound cod sinkers. If I need a bigger weight than 3 Pounds I don't bother to fish.
I would like to find a 1 pound cod sinker mold myself because that is what I use a lot more of than the big guys.
Hilts makes cod sinker molds but the 1 pound has been out of stock for a long time.
I don't sell any at this time but send me a pm and maybe we can work something out.
I also have all the cannonball weight sizes from 1 oz up to three pound except for the 12oz. Including 16,20,24,32,40 and 48oz for Halibut etc.
How much and what alloy of lead do you have? Ingots or??
There is a guy on Craiglists selling a bunch of Halibut sinker molds including the bigger cod sinkers then you could make your own.

Kasilofchrisn, I have a 1 pound cod mold out here in Sterling if you'd like to borrow it for a bit let me know. And I agree, I make my own 1,2 and 3 pound weights. If you need more than 3 pounds to stay on the bottom It's time to head back to the beach!

Sorry Hewey, I deleted a few and sent you a PM. The guy on CL only has 1 and 2 lb, I am buying a few from him today! I just need 3 or 4 3 lb cod weights.

I was talking about this one. He has molds for sale to make the bigger weights not the weights themselves.

Thanks for the offer I will keep that in mind. I have enough for now and I can alway make cannon balls if I need more one pounders.
Maybe sometime in the future we could do some trading as I have all kinds of different jig molds and river sinkers etc.

I'd be happy to make you up some weights. I currently do have the 3 and 4lb cod molds and I know there is a guy/company who sells these molds for up to a 5lb cod weight. This is where I got mine from. I think its called the Sinkershop? Search fishing weight molds and you'll run across it.

Let me know if you still need weights as I have pleny of lead as well and will make just about anything!
