    Default Chena River Day Floats

Any river hazard advisory reports from someone who has floated the Chena River this year from about MP 40 to about MP 28 off the Chena Hot Springs Road?

I'm looking to do granny floats with some fishing with some older friends. Any river hazards this year? Log jams? Bad sweepers, blind channels? Thank you! I've only driven the road and walked in from the road in spots. Any advisories would be appreciated. I'd be using a 14' raft with rowing frame. Thank you!

The river is still very high right now with all of the rain we have gotten lately. With that said the water level is probably above where the usual sweepers/jams are or the high fast water has washed them out based of all the trees/debris seen floating doen the river in town. There are some narrow/faster sections around MP 35 but nothing terrible espcially for the bigger boat
