Head towards Tyonek on the main dirt road that passes Fat Alberts and the store, heading south. At the "T", make a right turn away from the beach. About a mile or so up on the left is a chain linked fence enclosure on your left with some electrical equipment inside it. Turn left here on the "dirt path" and follow it till the end (about 1/2 mile), park here. Take the foot path south towards the Chuit river (about a mile walk) and fish these holes. You will do well.
At the "T" if you go left you will hit the beach. You can park there and walk the beach south about 1.5 miles and fish the mouth of the Chuit also. Lots of good fishing.
Are you working over there for Doyon on the rig or Chugach power?

    Cabin Goer,

Congrats on your new job. King salmon fishing is closed on those West Cook Inlet streams, but later this summer you can look forward to the Coho run. Head to the Theodore River. To locate the best fishing holes, just observe where the CEA pick-up trucks are parked when the work day is done.

FishSean alluded to it. You may want to talk to some of your colleagues or get learned-up regarding the social implications of the TNC/Chuit River access controversy before heading that direction. Its a happy story of great drama and armed confrontation.
