    Default Homer 6/3, 6/4 video

Spent a few days with friends in Homer over the long (for me) weekend. Steve, Rob, and Margarette were in attendance. Fished the first day out of the Zodiac and the next out of the Fish-Rite. Good times with great friends. Water was good for a couple hours and turned to 3-4`...can`t have it all.

Cool video dude, sure wish I could have had the boat ready. Just got the flywheel today, so tomorrow install and off to Seward this weekend. Hopefully third times a charm and I can finally get it out and wet a line and catch an Alaskan fish on the Gringo.

Were you guys camped on the spit between the fishing hole and the small boat harbor. Looked like your ridgid hull zodia. We had the 12 foot zodiac with 8h Tohatsu. Didn't bring the ice fishing gear though....

Kept 4 each day - 15 to 35 lbs (more 15s'), but 1 pretty good one each day. Slow going on Sunday morning but we were fishing the wrong tide for my spot.

Wife went 6 for 7 on trophy skates, plus an eel. Trash fish queen - has caught the last 11 skates in a row off my boat!

Awesome video! The ice fishing gear was awesome! I am planning on catching one on a fly pole this year!

Sounds like she may let the bait sit on the bottom too long...seems to be the culprit most times.

Yep, but you can only say so much.... She does manage to get her halibut too.
