    Default Bore tide caution

Hey JR, Tim Johnson, in his guide, says to have a solid roll, and to be comfortable surfing sticky holes, and does not recommend packrafts.

I have never done it, so it maybe easier than the print says, somewhere in between, or certain death.

However, if you do go, don't stand in the mud flats; we cannot packraft if the helicopter pulls you in half while trying to rescue you.
Seriously though, if you have'nt already, ask Tim about that one.
    See ya soon

    Mark,
Thanks for the concern. I feel like it should be a natural progression from what I have built on so far. Last year I got some practice in New Zealand riding 6' waves in to shore on the packraft. I figure I will try and find a paddle boarder or someone to follow out and in to shore.

    Default bore tide

Glad it was doable, sounds like the sport is gaining in popularity.

I might get some time this evening to put the video together. I took a quick glance and it looks awesome as the wave come rushes up behind me!
