    Default Rainbows in the Klutina?

I'm wondering, is there a decent rainbow fishery in the Klutina? With the size of the King & Red runs there I figure there must be a fair number of rainbows lurking about but I'm not finding much information on-line. Seems like every search I run for fishing the Klutina for Rainbows sends me off to the Gulkana. No special mention of Klutina Rainbows in the ADFG regulations either.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I have fished the Klutina for Rianbows and grayling....We have had good success....We did 4 wheel up the trial and just looked for back eddys and pools that they might be laying in....

Depends on what "decent" is to ya. I would try at the headwaters of the lake...I have heard thats the best place for resident fish. Like Chuck said, you can have good success. However its based on ability to read the water, timing, and angling talents. I dont think you hear much about the resident fish because one must use native land and pay a fee, in order to really access locations, and the numbers & size just are not there. Lots of bears if your camping up near the mouth, be safe.
