    Default Grizzly in North Pole

I guess the Grizz got the memo that the season is closed for them. There was a grizzly spotted off Plack Rd. and Parham McCormick Rd this last weekend

Happens every year....especially late spring. I remember about 5-6 years ago (not sure) where a whole family drowned in Chena Lake because a griz chased them into the water. It's always seems to be teenage males (bears).
I was surrounded by wolves one evening hiking with my dog on the Moose Creek Bluff trails. Fortunately I was armed and able to scare them off...not far though. They shadowed us inside the treeline as we walked to my truck.

As a taxidermist, this photo is a great reference photo for the feet of a standing Griz. Notice how claws do not touch the ground while standing still on firm ground. Great shot.
