    Default 500 Magnum Holster(s)

Does anyone out there have a "leg" holster for a 4" S&W 500 Magnum?

I have a belt holster but find that it makes getting the gun on target quickly difficult under the best situations. A holster that resembles the old cowboy holsters, ie sitting on the upper leg, would be much easier to deal with in a hurry.

Any info would be appreciated on companies/people that make holsters for the 500 magnum, as I have looked and looked to no avail.

    Thanks in advance!

Contact Dan as his web site says he will make custom holsters. I have his chest holster for my 500 and really like it.

I'll second the sportsman holster. After 3 years I won't use anything else to pack a gun in the weeds.

I hope I don't sound like a broken record here, I know I've steered a couple other folks his way, but seeing as how you're looking for a leather version, you might want to check out this guy, (he's in Chugiak) He has something similar on his website, and can custom make anything you can describe to him, and he's high quality, timely, and fair priced too.
