    Default Who's going to Klutina?

My gear has been ready for months, I plan on trying a suicide this upcoming midweek. If all goes well I'll have a report then. Drive safe everyone.

Just came back from there yesterday. Klutina still dead, there are only empty camps and no fish. Fish will be there on next 2 weeks. Chitina still the same condition, however, salmon will be there in next 5 -7 days.

    Default It's so Shiney

Well every year it's a gamble to go the first weekend of June. Last year resulted in only two fish this year resulted in two limits. Had a great time hanging out at the campground enjoying Alaska at it's best

Hey guys, Nice Fish. How was the water level when you were there? Do the charters have their boats in the water yet? Thanks

I saw one boat run down stream and out to the Copper. Not sure if it was private or a charter. The water level looked on the low side to me, but it rained while we were there and it looked to have risen slightly by Sunday afternoon.

Jedi, I saw you guys as my son and I were out there, We didn't get any but did manage to catch 2 grayling and lost two reds. I had my Black HAVE-AK sweater on, and was just teaching the son about fly fishing rivers. I will be out again this coming Sat, or Friday night depending on when I get out of Work. ~ Kyle,

The boat was a 24' Idaho Boat for chartering the Princess sightseeing Trips. Owned and operated by Jeremy from Rough Waters.

Thinking about heading out friday and staying until saturday evening, are you guys walking down to the mouth or just fishing around the bridge?

Fish were caught in all areas of the river, from the campgrounds above the bridge, all the way down to the mouth.
