No idea ... just trying to pick up clues on bear behaviors.
Nope, nothing like what I've seen
Now left only to be a turd in the forrest and the circle will be complete.Use me as I have used you
never seen a bear run circles and loops like that without the camera guys at least backin' up if it was serious. bear has cubs but sure don't seem aggressive at all, i wouldn't have shot....but i would have sure been backin up when she was on the far end of her loop! the guy says the same thing every time she turns too....but i'm not bilingual.
I miss the smell of my hunting boots....
Neat video and it gives you an idea of how fast they move and how much they bounce around. The fact that there is a cub or two in the first few frames of the video make me believe that it is real but I would have been backing my arse up.
Read about a charge like that recently though where escapes me. I think the typical bluff charge is just a head down run at you that pulls off and stops or veers off (as if anythings typical with wildlife).

This is a more typical charge:

Science has a rich history of proving itself wrong.
Interesting.....my dog does circles exactly like that when he wants to play.....wants me to try and catch him. Never seen a bear do that though...
