Default Trail conditions in the Swan Lake (KP) System? Max?

We will be taking our church youth group on our anual trip in about a week & wondered what the train conditions from Canoe Lake to Spruce Lake (our usual destination) are so far this year, especially blowdown on the trail after our wind storms this past winter.
Anyone been in that cares to give a trail report?
    Max, you heard anything?

    Thanks!

My son just got back last night from their church group trip there. They made several portages but I didn't ask which specific lakes. I'll quiz him tonight and let you know.

Canoe lake one and two are decent for fishing. And the trail is not too muddy either
gavia and spruce are good for fishing also
    and the trail is good,
A few step overs and a few walk arounds but should be cleared of those this week
east entrance is void of fish the first 4 lakes and the trail is not the greatest.
Swan lake has some bigger fish, but a little slow until u can find depth they are at.
Swan was a bit windy so did not enjoy a good fishing attempt ,,
moose river is low but doable
last mile of river is wide and shallow in spots
few people in the canoe trails now so plenty of solitude
oother than those pesky loon calls.
When you come to a fork in the trail, take it!

    Thanks guys.
So Max, basically Canoe - Spruce is about normal for blowdown this yr(We've done it for about 8 yrs now)? Trail crews are out now? Our group will be going in Friday the 8th.
Interested to hear where they went Marty.

He was a little vague on exactly where they went. A 17 yo sometimes doesn't pay that much attention. He said they went to spruce and trout lakes and some he couldn't name. He said the trails were fine.

Heading out there myself on Thursday. I think I will meander on up towards Gene Lake for a few days so give a shout out to an old guy if you see him on the canoe trail. Here's hoping for good weather and fair fishing.
