Have my grand daughter this summer and she caught her very first ever fish! A 38 1/2 inch Sturgeon!

Looks like she and you had a good time together! No other kids around in those pics...she handled it well Lots of boats on the Columbia....salmon run is going strong this year! Say....you ARE going to bring her to Alaska to fish off your boat instead of a concrete pier for her next fish, right ??

Oh yeah! This is only the beginning. I must admit I do like beer batter sturgeon. Salmon (Kings) run is all screwed up because of the fish and feather folks and high water. Steelheads are just now showing up. Heading to Astoria this weekend to see if she can hook one of the monster sturgeon.......
