Default Anybody heading out to the deshka next wed or thursday 5/30-5/31?

Wanted to get my boat out for the first time this season. Ive made the run a couple times but it was when the water was a little deeper. Im not familiar with the channel and would just like to follow someone. If not then Ill just man up and get out there. Ive got life vest for a reason I guess.

Be really careful if you go solo, there are a lot of submerged gravel/sand bars out there, and lots of floating debris.

I am sure there will be other boats to follow.

Problem with that is my boat isnt very fast. I tried keeping up with some other boats last time I was out and I got left behind in a hurry. A few people offered here before but the timing wasnt right.

We are leaving the landing at 0400. The main thing is to stay on the outside of bends. There is a tricky spot right in front of the landing (ruined my prop last week).

Yeah Ive seen the spot at the mouth that you are talking about. It looks like you go real deep and then cut it hard into there. Looks like thursday is gonna be the day I decide to give it a whirl.
