Went two for two with great bears.
    One 10' 1" one 9' 10"
It was still winter down there in places.

I'm just going by one claw, but that looks like a TOAD of a cinnamon phase bear!

I wouldn't want to skin it where it's lying. I also wouldn't want to try and move it either but would. Nice bear.

was it trying to come out of the den??? kind of an odd picture. nice bear though.

also, judging by one claw from 10ft back on a small computer screen i'd say he was approx 9'10" or maybe 10'1" give or take an inch...

Sounds to me like we need MANY more photos to determine if this thing is a toad, a joke, an ass, or a cinnabear ! Good job nonetheless

Not a joke not an ass either..........
This is where the bear landed after going over about a 150' cliff. it took almost two hours to dig and pull him out of this spot. The waterfalls had him about as wet and heavy as they come. He measured 10' 1". Not many pictures as it got dark on us getting him out of there.
One thing he was; he was a toad of a bear.

This has been discussed at length before, and I'm attributing any faulty references to a local establishment as proof that most of this crowd is very crude and base. When SkinnyD was born in Anchorage a while back, it was a pure birth that had never heard of said establishment. I just didn't think ThinDan sounded as snappy. I regret that decision. Maybe when I hit 1000 rep points I'll go ahead and reincarnate as cheerhottie.

I'd need a backhoe to move something that big. Its head is larger than anything I've ever shot.
